What this hour costs
Romania imports and exports power every minute of the day. The dial below reads Transelectrica's live system data and the day-ahead market price, then makes a single calculation: the current hour's balance, in money.
Calculation: balance × day-ahead price for the running hour. A reference measure of the exchange's value; real trades settle across several markets and contracts.
What the power is made of, right now
Instantaneous generation by source, as reported by Transelectrica's metering. Bars scale to the largest source at this moment.
Where it flows in and out
Instantaneous flows on the interconnection lines. Positive values mean import, negative mean export.
Sources and method
System data comes from Transelectrica's public real-time feed. The closing price comes from the official OPCOM day-ahead market results, published at 15-minute resolution.
The sign convention follows Transelectrica's display: a positive balance means import, a negative one export. All values are instantaneous readings, taken at the time shown in the header.
